NDW - Network Data Wiping software solution is developed to allow easy navigation, easy access to data reports whenever required. These reports and analytics data can be exported to many formats such as Excel, PDF, JSON, XML, HTML and etc,.
Automatically generate printable certificates of data erasure, these can be exported to PDF or Excel format. Each certificate contains several barcodes including 3d authentication barcode. This code is unique for each drive which make certificate temper-proof.
Certificates of data ensures can be printed or exported for bulk storage devices, by data range, or per customer basis. There are 3 different type of certificate of data erasure available for download.
NDW - Network Data Wiping software solution automatically prints the label for each storage device upon completion of data erasure. ZPL compatible thermal label printer is used to print the self adhesive direct or indirect thermal transfer labels.
A small self-adhesive sticker is automatically printed upon successful wipe, that can be attached to the hard disk drive. This sticker contains HDD Size, HDD Type and name, model number, serial number, wiped date, algorithm used to wipe the HDD, and wipe status. Labels can be redesigned and customised as per customer's requirements. However, such customisations may incur additional cost.
All ZPL compatible printers such as Zebra, UPS, Citizen and other are supported for barcode label printing. You don’t have to install any drivers, ZPL printers are supported as plug and play, and your printer will work out of the box as long as it has USB port. Printers with serial port are not supported.
Make sure you use only ZPL language compatible label printers, EPL based label have now become obsolete and are no longer supported by NDW software. Any printer that can understand ZPL raw printing language with USB or Network RJ45 port will work with NDW software solution.
We all know HDDs have mechanical spindles and lots of moving parts, there is a tear and wear as the drive ages. Amongst worst wear and tear are the bad sectors, grading of the HDD is done on case by case basis. If the HDD has greater than 0 current pending sectors that drive is considered B Grade otherwise drive is A Grade.
Grading of each storage devices is carried case of case basis and grades are automatically awarded to each drive based on wear and tear data. These grades can automatically be printed on the barcode labels for visual graded drive identification.
Reporting of health such as CRC erros, drive spin up time, drive temperature at the time of wiping, reallocated sectors, pending reallocated sectors, UDMA CRC errors, quality of drive such as power cycle counts and various other information are reported. This information can be downloaded as Excel spreadsheet or printed.
It is important to know the health of your storage media devices, bad storage media cannot only cause downtime but it can also cause serious disruption to your business. Therefore it is important to be aware of health issues of storage device well in advance to avoid disastrous moments.

NDW provides real-time and live monitoring of workstations erasure and wiping progress, real-time progress can be viewed via any web browsers or on the NDW server display monitor.
This solution is capable of wiping hard disk drives from 65,450 network attached computers concurrently. Each computer may have multiple hard drives. Calculated capacity of the single NDW server is over 100K hard disk drives concurrently. Capacity is dependent on NDW Server resources and network speed, faster the network more the capacity.
NDW can expand capacity wise, for large operations we can introduce load balancers to manage the DB connections , as well as NFS, API Calls, PXE images delivery and RAMdisk images delivery via the load balancers while increasing the physical server resources.
